Come Unto These Yellow Sands... I love Swift and Max
ReplyDeleteThe 4th, 5th, and 6th book of Adrien English series will always be my favorite. Because it feels like a tremendous reward reading of Adrien and Jake after the heartbreak
ReplyDeleteI like the dangerous ground books best
ReplyDeleteAll you Layon fanatics, Lanyonatics? (Is that a thing? Lanyonatics?)
ReplyDeleteFANYONS, PEOPLE. THEY ARE FANYONS. ;-D Not to be confusion with Funyions.
This is such a tough question because there are SOOOO many amazing characters, but I'll have to go with Jake and Adrien. Fatal Shadows was my very first Josh Lanyon book over 10 years ago, and it's as personal and moving to me today as it was when I first read it.
ReplyDeleteI really really like Tucker and Elliot from the Fair Play series. I can reread and relisten to those over and over again.
ReplyDeleteI have a soft spot for Kit Holmes.
ReplyDeleteSo hard to choose, but So This is Christmas because Adrien and Jake, or wait, The Monet Murders because Samson or maybe...it’s an impossible choice!!
ReplyDeleteOh it's so hard to choose: The Dickens With Love, The Ghost Wore Yellow Socks and The Dark tide.....each so fabulous in different ways
ReplyDeleteMy fave. is a first ed. GMP* pbk. of Fatal Shadows. LOL
ReplyDelete*Gay Male Press
All those gifs are pretty accurate because... Josh Lanyon! Hell! LOL, anyway I love The Ghost Wore Yellow Socks.
ReplyDeleteI like Kit Holmes. He really gets to me.
ReplyDeleteThe All's Fair series is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI couldn’t possible pick a favorite, I love all Lanyon’s books! lol! Well, if I have to pick it’ll be Fair Game as it’s my first time reading Josh Lanyon’s books. But I love the other ones, too!
ReplyDeleteThe Parting Glass. I get emotional simply writing those three words. I think, no I know, I sobbed through most of that gorgeous story. It was amazing. Tim and Luke... Sigh.
ReplyDeleteIf I had to pick just one, it would Come Unto These Yellow Sands. No...Wait...Ice Capades. Um, maybe The Ghost wore Yellow Socks. Never mind, I'm just going to pick my favorite child. It's easier.
ReplyDeleteCome Unto These Yellow Sands..., the best and the I spy series.
ReplyDeleteTaty
It's hard to choose, but I'll pick The Ghost Word Yellow Socks.
ReplyDeleteAdrien English series :)
ReplyDeleteI love them all. I love Kit. I love Adrien. I love all those short stories. I just love Josh Lanyon
ReplyDeleteOMG! Josh Lanyon's in the house! Woohoo! And if you'll ask me what my fave work of Josh is, it'll always be Adrien English Mysteries! Adrien & Jake is...<3 *happy sigh* Been eyeing If Only in My Dreams for a while now. ^_^
ReplyDeleteICECAPADE or SOMEBODY KILLED HIS EDITOR
ReplyDelete--Trix
This is awesome! 😍
ReplyDeleteI have read all of these and they have become some of my favourite Christmas reads.
ReplyDeleteSo far Tucker & Elliot are my faves.
ReplyDeleteI have a crush for Kit Holmes ^_^
ReplyDeleteHolmes & Moriarity Series, Stranger on the Shore and The Parting Glass is my favorites. I've read them all multiple times.
ReplyDeleteOnly one? Don't make me pick. :(
ReplyDeleteCome Unto These Yellow Sands... and Stranger on the Shore. :) Both I've read a million times.
Angela:
ReplyDeleteThank you for the chance in the giveaway. I haven't got a favorite yet ;)
I'm still a huge Adrien English fan. Started reading the series AGAIN.
ReplyDeleteThe first book I read by Josh Lanyon was Somebody Killed his Editor. I fell in love and started stalking Josh's website. I'm one of those people that have a hard time choosing a favorite, but jostling for the tippy top of the list are Come Unto These Yellow Sands; Green Glass Beads; The French Have a Word for It; Jefferson Blythe, Esquire; The Ghost Wore Yellow Socks; A Ghost of a Chance; and Mummy Dearest. Heck, I should have just written 'All of Josh's books'. If forced to choose, I'll pout and mumble something about 69th birthday this week.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance.
So many good books to choose from, but I think my favorite is The Parting Glass. The opening scene when Tim and Luke meet again made me smile and that final scene just about killed me. And of course everything in between! Gaspard Genero!

I do enjoy Lone Star, reread it a number of times-would be delighted to have a print copy!!
ReplyDeleteI’m currently reading The Boy with the Painful Tattoo. What a great surprise to be able to visit with Adrien and Jake for a little while. One of my all time favorite couples!
