K-lee Klein is here today promoting her newest Unbreak My Heart story, Unbroken Hearts from Dreamspinner Press. She's brought excerpts & she's offering a giveaway too! Good luck!
Thank you for stopping by the last post for my blog tour and giveaway. I'm thrilled to say Unbroken Hearts was released from Dreamspinner Press on October 11. This is the second book in the Unbreak My Heart series and though it's the second edition, it's polished with new edits, and includes the original story (Unbroken Hearts), the short Unwrapped Hearts (3rd book in the series), and 25,000 words of new content.
For this post, I thought I'd share some popular quotes from the series. Please stick around to enter the Rafflecopter giveaway. I hope you enjoy these tidbits and my new book, Unbroken Hearts. Thanks for having me Boy Meets Boy.
1. “You’re more than I deserve, kid. I may not be good with words and feelings but… you sure do pull at my heart.”
JT dragged him back into his snug embrace. A trickle of wetness dampened Brett’s neck when JT buried his nose into his nape. He held Brett so tight he thought he might suffocate—it would have been a nice way to go.
After some time, Brett worried something was really wrong. “It’s all right, Darlin’.” He smoothed a hand over JT’s hair, cupping his around JT’s head as he pressed them together even more. “I hope those are happy tears and I didn’t do something to upset—”
A few sniffles proceeded JT’s face rising to meet Brett’s. “Happy, of course, and I swear I’ve never cried before, during, or after sex until now.” A shuddered sob ended his controlled words.
Brett tugged a hand in his hair, smiling down at him with the sweetest smile he could manage without looking like a complete dork. “That’s because it was love-making, not just sex. I think we’re both a little worked-up.”
2. His answer was a little on the quick side, but Brett didn’t seem to notice while he scrubbed a towel over his hair and flipped it around to get it dry. Have mercy. JT was positive he’d developed a hair kink, or at least one for Brett’s hair. It was like watching one of those cheesy hair product commercials, but with Brett as the model, wind sweeping and bouncing through his shining locks to show it off. JT was hard again. (Unbreak My Heart)
3. "How can you even want to look at me now, let alone touch me?” The slur in his voice pissed him off, and he forced himself to sit up straighter. Last thing he needed was to fall asleep in the damn loft. His body didn’t recover that well anymore, but at the same time, all the fight had gone out of him. And he really wanted to feel JT's arms around him.
He could smell JT, feel warmth and goodness flowing off him, just like the glow of the sun when it hit the cold water in the creek. He’d tried to drink his pain away, tried to do it for a whole three goddamn years, but now all he wanted to do was wrap himself in JT and never let go. (Unbreak My Heart)
4. “Oh, for Christ’s sake.”
JT smirked against Brett’s lips, a snicker bubbling up his throat until he was full out laughing as he rolled off Brett. Brett grabbed for him, complained a little when Ray cleared his throat, then sat up and grinned like a loon at him.
“Morning, old man,” he said, winding an arm around JT.
“Here I was worried y’all had killed each other, and you’re in here playin' tonsil hockey in the barn. Now if you don’t mind, I’d appreciate knowin' if anyone besides me is workin' today. I’m goin' to put the coffee on.”
“We’re right behind you,” Brett called after him. “Tonsil hockey? That’s a new one to me.”
“I think Ray’s been boning-up on his slang,” JT replied. “Maybe he’s moving into the twenty-first century.”
“I heard that, kid! And if you wouldn’t mind doing me a favor before breakfast, I’d be much obliged.”
JT hesitated while Brett shrugged with his sexy crooked grin shining. “Uh, sure, Ray. What do you need?”
“I need you to put some goldarn pants on before you come to the table. Starting to think we’re runnin' some sort of naked, gay resort around here,” Ray said, turning on his heel. (Unbroken Hearts)
5. The family room was in total disarray, the meticulously chosen and decorated Christmas tree dejectedly bent over one of the leather sofas, a mess of needles scattered on the floor. The golden Christmas star JT and Brett had picked out at the country market not a week before was in ruins, only three of the five arms having made it through the ordeal. Silver and blue garlands fluttered on the floor, torn apart like some tinsel machine had vomited all over the room and the red felt tree skirt was all bunched up to one side, hiding whatever mess was underneath.
And sitting pretty right in the middle of the disaster zone, one silver garland draped over his back, was a panting, tongue-flopping, tail-wagging, very pleased with himself Whiz. A one-man… one-dog wrecking ball. ( Unbroken Hearts)

Bio
K-lee Klein loves guys with long hair and tattoos, and you’ll often find her front and center at her favorite rock concerts. She has bounced around Western Canada all her life, but will always consider the solitude and beauty of the British Columbian mountains home. Her life is blessed as the proud mother of three now-grown but still spoiled kids, the servant of two bossy felines, and the wife of a truly patient husband.
Her writing muse is terribly temperamental, so to keep him close by and in check, she had him inked on her left calf. The gorgeous, long-haired, mostly naked, kneeling angel that resulted is truly a work of art, although he’s still a handful and hopelessly uncontrollable. She writes on his schedule and inspiration.
K-lee tends to fall easily into obsessions. When something grabs her attention, she jumps into it headfirst with complete abandon. Actors, musicians, superheroes, fictional characters, and brainwashed assassins all hold spots on her cannot-get-enough list. She once followed Thirty Seconds to Mars around the United States and Canada and saw them perform fourteen times that year. Obsession sometimes leads to ideas for her kneeling angel to turn into stories.
Although an introvert in person, she’s extroverted online and has met many wonderful friends there, sometimes with the added fun of meeting them in person at gay romance conferences. She’s grateful for all the people in her life who accept her as she is and support her through her ups and downs as mom, wife, and joyfully obsessed writer.
