Alexandre Bonfils, a rich and spoiled second son, is tired of being ignored and decides to help when the family’s exclusive wine business is in trouble. Going undercover in the warehouse, he loves the adventure—and the chance to be close to the sassy and sexy manager, Tate Somerton.
Tate is hardworking and financially struggling, bringing up his siblings on his own. A suspected saboteur at work is his latest challenge, but now he also has a clueless, though very attractive, new intern. The fluff was high in this installment which is something to expect from this DSP line in general. I enjoyed the story of the rich kid wanting to prove himself to his father by going undercover to unearth a mystery then along the way finding love.
What's not to like about the rich kid falling for the blue collar and dedicated employee?
Tate and his family have charisma and together they inadvertently show him how the other half lives and subsequently worm their way into Alexandre's heart. Pretty amazing turn of events for the traditionally one and done Alexandre but Tate affects his like no one else ever has.
Feelings develop quickly and there was a surprising amount of heat between them.
The industrial espionage element didn't really interest me all that much but I do appreciate the attempt to jazz things up nonetheless.
Seb Yarick has a nice voice but he didn't bring much depth or emotion to any of these characters.
If you're a fan of this house line give this one a try.
