This is a short, sweet and endearingly sexy book despite that Preston the Alpha finds his mate is a child. Dylan’s family whisk him away and we don’t see much of the following six years. Then, eighteen year old Dylan is being taken back to where his mate, pack are waiting for him. It could have been awkward or skeezy at best with the age difference between our characters, but it is tastefully written until poor old Dylan is dragged into heat by the presence of his mate.

There is a good emphasis on consent throughout the book, which is comforting, and the incredible sweetness of Dylan’s little Christmas gifts for Preston. The epilogue is often my favourite part of a book, (I really love a proper solid HEA with closure) and this one is superb!

If you like a sweet Christmassy fated mates story in a quick fix, this one could be for you!
