Blurb:

In all his relationships, Darren Fielding never found the level of intimacy he witnessed between Thomas Williams and his sub, Peter, the day of Peter’s “rebirth.” Not only that, he never realized such intimacy was possible. For two years, Thomas’s business card has been burning a hole in his wallet. When Darren’s lover moves on, maybe it’s finally time to see where that card takes him.

Collars & Cuffs’s new barman, JJ Taylor, is really conflicted right now. He went to the club with a very specific purpose, already convinced of what he’d find there. Except it’s not what he expected at all. He certainly didn’t anticipate finding himself drawn to the new wannabe Dom. Nor could he have guessed the direction that attraction would lead him.

Old love, new love, vows, pain, rage, moving in, moving on…. The members of Collars & Cuffs face an event that touches some of them deeply, but it will only reinforce what they already know: together they are stronger, and some bonds cannot be broken.

Excerpt:

“Honey, I’m home.”

Alex laughed and came out of the kitchen to greet his husband. “We’ve talked about this, right? You do not walk into this apartment and talk to me like I’m the little wife.”

Leo kissed him soundly on the cheek. “Aw, but you’d look great in an apron, holding a glass of beer out for your weary, hard-working hubby.” He smirked. “And besides, no one in their right mind would call you little.”

Alex quirked his eyebrows. “One, you don’t drink beer, which is why there’s a glass of chilled chardonnay on the living room table, waiting for you. Two, excuse me—weary? Hard-working? You’ve been standing around in leather chaps and a harness, watching while guys do all manner of things to each other, which probably included a lot of fucking, because, hey, it’s Saturday night, right?”

Leo sighed happily. “What can I say? I love my job.”

Ben & Scott

“Scott, it’s for you,” Ben shouted.
“Coming!”
The stomping of feet heralded the arrival of the redhead who captivated Ben’s heart. Every time he looked at Scott, Ben couldn’t believe he’d gotten so lucky.
“Who is it?”
“She didn’t say. Just asked if she could talk to you. It’s an overseas number. US call.”
Scott’s hand paused midway to the phone.
“Hang up,” he insisted.
“I’m not going to hang up. Talk to whoever it is.”
Scott folded his arms across his chest and sighed. “What if it’s her?”
Ben knew the ‘her’ in question was Scott’s mother. She and her husband had cut him out of their lives when Scott came back to England with Ben.
“If it’s her, then you need deal with it. I’m right here if you need me.”
Scott paled and he shivered. Ben wrapped an arm around him.
“I’ll always be here, Scott. But if you don’t think you can do this, I won’t force you. Say the word, and I’ll tell her you’re not interested in talking to her.
Scott took a deep breath. “No. I’ll…I’ll talk to her. Please don’t go anywhere,” he pleaded.
“Never.”
Scott picked up the phone. “Hello? Who’s calling please?”
He relaxed visibly and blew out the breath.
“Yes, this is Scott. Can I help you?”
Scott listened for a few moments, his eyes growing wide, with a grin to match it.
“Are you serious?” He glanced at Ben. “No, ma’am. I’ll have to talk to my…partner. But thank you for calling.”
Scott hung up the phone, then saved the number in memory.
“What was that about?” Ben wondered.
“You’re not going to believe this. I don’t believe this! I’ve got to call Peter and Alex.”
He grabbed the phone again and turned away.
“Scott, if you don’t stop where you are right this instant and tell me what’s going on, you’re not going to sit for a week.”
Scott faced Ben, the delightful blush staining his cheeks.
“I’m sorry, Sir. I got excited.”
“Really? I hadn’t noticed.”
“Sarcasm really doesn’t become you,” Scott said with a pout.
“Now do you want to tell me what’s going on, or am I going to have to force it from you? As they say, I have ways to make you talk.”
“That woman? Her name was Mary Sinclair. She works at a small animation studio in Los Angeles. She read Puppy Pile and called to ask if we would consider letting her turn it into an animated short!”
“And how much did she ask for?”
Scott cocked his head. “Nothing. She wanted to turn it into a competition. She said she loved the story, and that she thought it had a shot at winning.”
“Scott? Are you sure this is on the level?”
Scott scrunched his face. “Why wouldn’t it be?”
“Your story is amazing. In fact, I think having it turned into a cartoon would be wonderful for kids, but I don’t want you getting your hopes up, then finding out she’s trying to get the rights from you. This isn’t something you can just jump into.”
Scott’s expression spoke of his hurt, and Ben reached for him.
“Come here,” he whispered, pulling Scott to him. “I’m not saying we won’t check it out. I’ll talk to a barrister and see if they have any information on her. But I won’t let anyone hurt you. I made that mistake once, and from now on, you are my primary responsibility.”
Scott gave a weak smile. “Thank you, Sir.”
“Now, do you want me to look up someone to talk with right away, or would you rather I take you to bed and show you why you are the most important thing in the world to me?”
Scott’s grin returned. “How about we call first, then you can show me after?”
Ben laughed at his boy’s excitement. “I love you, you know that, right?”
Scott snuggled close, his head resting on Ben’s chest. “Yeah, I do. And maybe it won’t matter if we wait an hour or two before we check this out.”
Scooping his lover up, he carried him to the bedroom and proceeded to show him in word and deed that he would never have to worry about not being loved.

It turned out that the woman was on the level, but she warned Scott that there would be no money made from this venture. Scott didn’t care. It wasn’t the money. The idea that a kid might see Puppy Pile and find out that they, too, deserved love meant more than any amount of cash they could give him.

The video garnered some nice reviews, but didn’t win the competition. Scott didn’t care, because it was online now, and he could only hope that it would make a difference in someone’s life.

The way Scott had made a difference in Ben’s.

Meet K.C. Wells:

Born and raised in the north-west of England, K.C. WELLS always loved writing. Words were important. Full stop. However, when childhood gave way to adulthood, the writing ceased, as life got in the way. K.C. discovered erotic fiction in 2009, when the purchase of a ménage storyline led to the startling discovery that reading about men in love was damn hot. In 2012, arriving at a really low point in life led to the desperate need to do something creative. An even bigger discovery waited in the wings—writing about men in love was even hotter….

K.C. now writes full-time and is loving every minute of her new career. The laptop still has no idea of what hit it… it only knows that it wants a rest, please. And it now has to get used to the idea that where K.C goes, it goes.

And as for those men in love that she writes about? The list of stories just waiting to be written is getting longer… and longer….

Meet Parker Williams (or at least his voices):

Good day! We are the voices that live inside Will’s head. The ones who whisper to him constantly, beckoning him to speak of our adventures, to tell of our love, and perhaps, if we’re in a mood, kill a person or two.

We guide his hand as he tells our tales where love is the most powerful force, but must be worked for, molded, and finally, embraced. There can be no shortcuts or substitutions on the path to a happily ever after.

We hope you will join with us as Will fulfills his obligation to ensure our stories are told and, we hope, enjoyed.
